Screw Conveyors Design, Bucket Elevators, Screw Flights and other conveying equipment

Archimedes Engineering was originally formed in 1972 as a design and manufacture company specifically targeting Conveying and Elevating Equipment.

In the late 1980’s the company’s direction was changed to specialise in bucket elevator and screw conveyor design as well as the manufacture of screw conveyors, screw feeders, bucket elevators, screw flights and mixers.

Our product range encompasses the full design and in-house manufacture of Screw Conveyors – Screw Feeders, including both conventional and shaftless arrangements, and Bucket Elevators with capacities of up to 1200 TPH (both Belt Bucket and Chain Bucket designs).

To complement the above products we also manufacture and design a complete range of Ribbon Batch Mixers including units for mixing grease.

Over the years we have worked closely with a number of major engineering consultants supplying our designs and manufactured products throughout Australia as well as internationally to countries such as PNG, Indonesia, Vietnam Hong Kong, Middle East and Pacific Islands.

The Business was aquired by Wulguru Steel Pty Ltd in March 2010 to complement its existing business.

Wulguru Steel was established in excess of 30 years ago & is now one of Queensland's largest privately owned engineering and manufacturing companies.
